Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380 – Perfect for cruising
Goal: to be the best mid-sized cruising boat. Even the designer says so Marc Lombard, who designed the new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380, which takes the place of the 389: “Hull, appendages, sail plans, design and ergonomics, layout, weight savings–everything has been thought through to the smallest detail to make this the best sailboat in its class.”
Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380 – Interiors
The interiors are designed by Jean-Marc Piaton. Aboard the Sun Odyssey 380 we find a spacious and comfortable forward master cabin with a rectangular bed. Below deck there is also another cabin or two other cabins and two bathrooms, many closets and stowages that make the most of the space on board, including in the dinette.
Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380 – Esteriors
The boat is fun and high performance, and is designed to be able to sail even in 5-6 knots of wind. You can see the Sun Odyssey 380’s sporty vocation from some design choices such as the inverted bow. The walkway from the bow descends and slopes down to the large cockpit, where all maneuvers are convenient.
