Agropoli
Agropoli, called the gateway to the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, stands on a promontory jutting out into the sea at the southern end of the Gulf of Salerno and south of the Sele plain .It is one of the most enchanting tourist destinations in all of Campania. Of Byzantine origin, its village exudes history in every corner, allowing tourists to enjoy a relaxing stay but also to enjoy a vacation immersed in unspoiled nature, but also to learn about and visit the many architectural sites present. The Greek temples and the Paestum Museum can be reached from Agropoli by bus in just a few minutes. Water, electricity and fuel can be found in the port. South of Agropoli is the beautiful bay of Trentova. From here you can hike along the coast to Punta Tresino. After only 6 nm in Agropoli you arrive in San Marco di Castellabate, a small medieval fishing village. Winding streets, arched passageways, labyrinthine stairways lead through the unspoiled historic center. The port offers fuel and water; food is available on site.
Acciaroli
Five miles from Ogliastro is Acciaroli, whose harbor offers good protection and where there is also water and fuel for refueling. Directly at the harbor you can enjoy the restaurants, bars, and cafes with beautiful sea views. Kilometers of sandy beaches on both sides of the city invite swimming and long walks on the beach. Clear water and clean beaches are the hallmark of the place, which has been repeatedly recognized for its environmental protection work. One of Acciaroli’s most famous visitors is the American writer Ernest Hemingway. The Nobel laureate in literature lived for a few weeks in Acciaroli, where he worked together with some fishermen.
Marina di Camerota
Marina di Camerota is a hamlet of Camerota, a small town on the Cilento Coast at the foot of Mount Bulgheria. To defend themselves from Saracen pirates, the inhabitants of the towns on the Cilento Coast developed their villages on the hills and mountains, not far from the sea. It is very famous and full of tourists every summer. The beauty of Marina di Camerota is extraordinary: there are beautiful small coves that can only be reached by sea. Rocks and beaches create an extraordinary landscape, enhanced by Mediterranean shrubs and olive trees. Its small harbor, its location at the foot of the mountains, its deep blue crystal clear sea, and its rich coastline, where there is much to discover and admire. Mooring or anchoring is possible in the harbor. There is water, electricity and fuel here. From Marina di Camerota it is possible to reach many parts of the country by car, visit places of remarkable beauty located inland. The original fishing village borders the river that reaches Marina di Camerota corresponding Infreschi Marine Nature Park. Boats will take you to the many picturesque bathing bays in the marine nature park. Cala is very beautiful bays Monte di Luna and Cala Bianca.
Scario
Scario is located only 7 nautical miles from Marina di Camerota. It is the southernmost pearl of Cilento, thanks to its unique location and mild climate . The view of Scario is postcard-perfect: small harbor, trees, pastel-colored houses, palm trees, a beautiful church, green and fresh vegetation. The Cilento National Park ends here. It is 11 nm to Maratea and another 7.5 nm to Dino Island. The port of Policastro is not recommended because, despite its size, it is uncommon and has shallows. However, the port of Sapri is recommended.
