FOR LUXURY SUMMER CRUISES TO THE MOST FASCINATING BAYS
“For the summer of 2023, we are heading for a sell-out,” says Simone Morelli, founder and administrator of NSS Charter. “With our fleet, consisting of about 130 boats including catamarans and monohulls, we try to meet all needs, both with the Beneteau Oceanis range, starting with the 30.1 up to the 51.1, and the Lagoon catamarans. This year we will have many new boats in the fleet, such as the new Lagoon 55, the Sixty5 and the Seventy7, luxurious boats. The catamaran is the most popular boat today; we believed in it many years ago and we are particularly keen to always offer boats that live up to expectations. Our charterer has at his disposal a wide variety of choices starting with the Lagoon 40. Today, the client is a real tourist who wants to experience a new, different vacation, in contact with nature and in total relaxation. The catamaran meets this need. Then there are sailors, sailing experts, and also many newbies to whom we advise how best to spend their vacation. The most popular sailing area is Sardinia, departing from our private marina at Cala dei Sardi in Costa Smeralda. An interesting itinerary is to head south to the beaches of Tavolara, the Bue Marino Caves and the Caribbean waters of Cala Goloritzé. Or you head the bow north to the Pevero beach near Porto Cervo, then Caprera, the Maddalena archipelago, the island of Spargi until you reach Corsica. But other destinations are no less, so much so that we often offer the “one way.” For example, we start from Cala dei Sardi to Cala de’ Medici in Tuscany, sailing to the most beautiful places in both regions. Then there are the Aeolian Islands and the Amalfi Coast, destinations that are always in high demand.” Without forgetting that today it is always service that is one of the most important pluses. “We offer full-time 24-hour support. The policy is to satisfy the customer in every need. From booking we advise which itineraries and which boat to choose. During the vacation you can count on immediate assistance. We have a staff ready to step in.” Can we give an idea of the rates for the summer? “Prices,” Simone Morelli concludes, “vary depending on the type of boat chosen and the period. Maintaining a quality standard and taking June as an example, one can sail a week on a 12-meter sailboat that accommodates 6 people for 2,500 euros, while a catamaran of the same size with 4 double cabins costs about twice as much. For discerning clients seeking luxury, we have customized proposals on large catamarans, with even a chef on board. The figures start at 25,000 euros per week and go up.”
