Since 1984, Lagoon has delivered nearly 7,000 yachts worldwide. Growth driven by the charter market but also by the desire of many boat owners to enjoy the sea on a comfortable and spacious vessel. The Beneteau Group giant does not need much introduction, as it is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of cruising catamarans. There are 8 cats in the line, from 40 to 70 feet, 12 to 23 meters in length, geared toward pure cruising and charter. The new 60, Sixty 5 and Seventy 7 are the three models designed toward luxury comfort or high-end charter. On the Lagoons there is on everything you might need to spend your vacation feeling like on a beach house. The water lines of the new Lagoon 60 were designed by the French firm Van Peteghem-Lauriot Prévost (VPLP) while the design was entrusted to Patrick Le Quément, for the exteriors, and Nauta design, for the interiors, a design team already established on other models of the shipyard. However, the flagship remains the Lagoon Seventy 7 (23.28 x 11 m), strongly desired by the brand, along with the Sixty 5, to position the shipyard also in luxury cruising, both charter and owner-operated. A boat that is more than 5 years old but remains one of the benchmarks for catamarans of this type. One of the cult details of the Lagoon Seventy is the electrically opening swim platform with which the master stateroom is equipped, in order to create a descent into the water with an exclusive space with maximum privacy. Otherwise, Lagoon remains one of the must-sees for cruisers worldwide.
