Lagoon 43, comfort and space without boundaries
Beneteau Group giant confirms itself as one of the leaders in the catamaran market
Since 1984, Lagoon has delivered nearly 7,000 yachts worldwide. Growth driven by the charter market but also by the desire of many owners to enjoy the sea on a comfortable and spacious boat.
The Beneteau Group giant needs little introduction, as it is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of cruising catamarans. Among them is the new Lagoon 43, a boat that is marked (in addition to comfort) by ductility, to be always adaptable to different owner needs. This was the focus requested by the shipyard from studio VPLP (naval architecture), designer Patrick Le Quément (exterior design) and Italian Nauta Design (interiors). The result is a boat full of innovative solutions that could set trends. The first that jumps out at you is certainly the addition of a side access on the two bulwarks in the aft area in addition to the canonical stern lifts, carved out of a “cleft” in the hull that is designed to blend harmoniously with the lines framing the hull windows. This makes it even easier and safer to get on and off the boat when the catamaran is English moored at the dock-a true house-boat solution. Ease of movement on board, after all, is one of Lagoon’s strengths: even on the 43, the stern area is separated from the cockpit by a single step.”
A SAILBOAT FULL OF INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS
Among the details that make the Lagoon 43 unique is the deckhouse that opens seamlessly to the stern, offering a 360-degree panoramic view-it is obviously bright and a candidate for the perfect living space on board.
