Made in Italy style and performance
The Italian shipyard made its debut in 2018, positioning itself in the fast cruising cat sector
Established as a start-up in 2017, Itacatamarans has gradually established itself as a shipyard in the international nautical market, going on to win the title of Multihull of the Year 2020, awarded by Voile Magazine at the Paris Boat Show. For the first model launched in 2018, the 14.99, in addition to the awards just mentioned came a nomination for the British Yachting Award in the Multihulls category in 2019.
The feature particularly appreciated by the owners who chose the Ita 14.99 and 15.49 lies in the combination of performance, class, and design. The sailor looking for an Itacatamarans is looking for a cruising multihull that is capable of delivering sailing thrills, and has everything needed to live well on board. Constructed of epoxy resin by infusion, with carbon reinforcements, both longitudinal and transverse, designed to be steered even with a small crew, and with adjustable side drifts to optimize, with simplicity, sailing: this is Itacatamarans in a nutshell.
The shipyard, founded by entrepreneur Emanuele Caprini, has been in the multihull sector since its inception with a product that exalts Made in Italy. In fact, the production site is in the Marche region in Mondolfo (PU) where all research and production is developed. The Ita 14.99 and the new 15.49 are available in four versions and with Electric and Diesel engines, and can be customized in some elements according to the owner’s style and needs.
LIGHT YET ELEGANT, MODERN YET SPACIOUS. ARE ITACATAMARANS INTERIOR
A MIX OF MODERN AND CLASSIC
Light colors, and a furniture divided between composite construction and wood, the interior of Ita 14.99 is a good compromise between elegance and lightness of materials, with an understated style that nevertheless has an identity.
WHAT SPACE.
Despite being a modern, sport cruising catamaran, the 14.99’s volumes allow plenty of space inside, as this bathroom with shower also demonstrates.
