Among the many accessories INDEMAR offers then is Seakeeper Ride, the first and only Vessel Attitude Control System (VACS) that is inspired by aerospace technology to control pitch, roll and yaw. Waves are unpredictable, ever-changing, and generated in moments: Seakeeper Ride’s sensors make 1,000 different measurements and its patented rotating blades make 100 adjustments per second to counteract wave movements and thus eliminate up to 70 percent of pitch and roll while underway, without even touching a button.

Seakeeper RIDE controllers are installed on the transom, below the waterline, to create an extension of the hull. Using three accelerometers and inertial sensing software, the system is capable of analyzing up to 1,000 movements per second of the boat in all three axes, which allows it to counter up to 70 percent of roll, pitch and yaw through instantaneous movement of the actuators. Once the automatic mode is activated, Seakeeper RIDE helps the boat glide, after which it adjusts its attitude without the need for manual intervention.
