Hanse

Hanse: breaking the rules, setting trends.

For Hanse, this is more than just a slogan; it is the result to be achieved with every yacht produced. Hanse Yachts AG is the second largest yacht builder in the world in terms of the number of yachts built in series per year. The company is among the world’s top ten manufacturers of catamarans and motor yachts. It has one of the most modern and diverse recreational yacht ranges on the market, with over 40 different models.

For many sailors, buying a yacht is the realization of a lifelong dream. Hanse Yachts AG allows its customers to choose from an almost infinite range of options and configure the yacht of their dreams. One thing Hanse yachts have in common is their unmistakable design and the unwavering “Engineered in Germany” seal of quality.

Hanse yachts have won more than 62 international awards

Time and again Hanse boats have achieved great success in legendary regattas such as the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, the Copa del Ray or the Nordseewoche. “Only boats with outstanding performance characteristics deserve the Hanse name,” says hanse CEO Dr. Jens Gerhardt proudly.

The shipyard builds its yachts in collaboration with world-renowned boat designers Judel/Vrolijk & Co. The first joint project became an “instant classic”: the Hanse 371. The shipyard is well known for inventions that are both surprising and indispendable. The latest example is the E-Motion Rudder Drive of the Hanse 315. These yachts are appreciated by sailing enthusiasts all over the world. The international dealer network of the world’s second largest sailboat manufacturer in the world delivers boats to 70 countries.

SAFETY FIRST

With MyHanse Safety Cloud everything is under control, you have complete access to all important boat data, anytime, anywhere. Smart applications such as BoatMonitoring, eLogBook, and eServiceBook allow you to easily and conveniently supervise your yacht, to automatically keep your logbook up-to-date, and to keep an eye on all maintenance dates. The hull-to-keel connection is based on plates securely fixed in an ultra-strong epoxy resin bed.

This means that the keel is directly anchored to the powerful floor of the structure. The keel bolts, including discs and nuts, are made of stainless steel. The extra-high foresail conveys a sense of safety at sea and elegantly combines the dynamic lines of the hull with the high stanchion and, thus, ensures maximum safety.

Sandwich construction
These yachts are built with the high-quality sandwich process. The hull has several layers of selected materials and is precisely calculated in every detail. It is particularly lightweight and, thanks to the vinylester outer layer, completely
resistant to osmosis. In collaboration with Judel/Vroljik & Co, the shipyard developed a special hull-deck connection that goes far beyond all standard requirements. In addition to the use of highly strong polyester resin for bonding, the deck and hull are anchored with the use of high-strength bolts in the bollards. The result is a stable, torsion-free yacht with a sporty character.
