The port
In the protected bay of Portoferraio, the main center of the Island of Elba, Esaom offers 300 berths up to 65 meters (maximum depth of the seabed 5.5 meters) and all the services of a modern marina: water, electricity, wi-fi internet connection, mooring assistance, garbage collection, toilets and showers also for the disabled, washing machine and dryer services in dedicated rooms, parking, bar, restaurant, bicycles, helipad, boat cleaning (indoor and outdoor), h/24 surveillance. A concierge service follows up on requests from shipowners, captains, and crews. Esaom, in order to gratify its customers has then entered into a series of agreements with facilities and activities in Portoferraio and other locations on the island: characteristic restaurants, wine bars for aperitifs, nightclubs, shopping stores, hotels, sports activities (sailing, windsurfing, trekking, diving, deep-sea fishing, mountain biking, golf). In Portoferraio it is possible to visit museums and archaeological sites, gardens, and the historic center made up of narrow streets that climb the hill that houses one of the villas that belonged to Napoleon Bonaparte during his Elban exile. Nearby are the Baths of St. John, the only thalassotherapy center in the Western Mediterranean. At the port there is a store specializing in nautical accessories and spare parts, with 400 square meters of display, open year-round. The MOLO “G” restaurant, located on the docks and by the sea, is also one of the marina’s facilities: it retains the look of the old Livorno taverns, with tables and chairs of all shapes, making the place cozy and informal. Esaom has a shipyard, among the largest in the Mediterranean, equipped with facilities and vehicles of exceptional capacity, such as the new 240 t and 880 t travel-lifts to wing yachts and mega yachts. The shipyard offers all maintenance, rebuilding, and refitting services on sail and power boats. Large spaces available for boat storage with as many as 7 locations for yachts up to 65 meters.

The Marina is within a National Park and in an area such as Elba that has 140 km of coastline and a mild climate year-round. Connections between Portoferraio and the coast are frequent, even in the low season.
