The Padua-based Antal company is the child of a true family history. It was born in 1977 with Gastone Carraro, who combined his experience in the family foundry, established in 1950, his skills applied to mechanics since the 1940s, and his passion for boats. Since then, the Carraro family has led Antal for more than 45 years, during which time the company, thanks to Roberto Carraro’s distinctive skills and innovative technical innovations, has been alongside great champions of world sailing.
In 2008 Antal successfully introduced to the Italian market the Low Friction Ring, a product that has revolutionized the handling of maneuvers on sailboats.
Then, in 2020, it was the turn of SectoRing, the small-size, lightweight revolving ring. Tool that is the perfect solution for high loads where large and fast movements are not required. And Antal SectoRing, it has now become the equipment that has also been adopted aboard the most famous ocean racer such as Class 40 and Imoca 60 where it finds use on Spi booms, rudders, mainsail stringers, steering wheels and anywhere the technical imagination can go.
Today Antal has a catalog that covers any need, with a full range of deck equipment. A series and custom proposal capable of pleasing small pleasure boats, superyachts, cruising or racing boats. The company has a network of distributors in 21 countries around the world, and cooperates with leading Italian and international sailboat shipyards.

Winch XT53.3RD
The new XT53.3RD racing winch is an extra lightweight model designed for the Class40. It has a direct speed for fast recovery and a more powerful third speed for high loads. Lightened structure and gears to achieve the weight limit of just 6.40 kg. For the first time with an extruded aluminum central axis: 3 times lighter than the usual A316 stainless steel version.
Tulip pulley
The wide Tulip pulley with 2 side Torlon maxi ball bearings allows different vertical angles (± 20°) of maneuver entry-exit. The molded cover is made to allow control of the passage of at least two maneuvers. Available in the range from 45 to 110 mm.
DS08 ring
The new DS08 is a bridge ring designed for binding and splicing. Especially suitable for vertical loads, with a SWL of up to 2,800 kg.
