USED BOATS: They sell 5 hulls for all tastes from 7 to 14 meters

A gem by Harlé as a cruising vessel, a cruiser-racer by Humphreys, two pearls by Sparkman & Stephens, and a 1970s bluewater… in the next few lines you will find five hulls that are quite different from each other, but each ready to meet a wide variety of needs. Of course, you will find the link to each individual card following each description. Here are the 5 boats, from 7.9 to 14.3 meters.

Meloria, the small but fast Jouet 27 you’ll find among the boats for sale

JOUET 27, (7.9 m)

If you’re looking for a classic 1970s pop sailboat, among watercraft, the little Jouet 27 signed by Harlé cannot fail to have its own appeal. Compact-but cruising-friendly cabin cruiser-but fast and snappy, the Jouet 27 is indeed a gem not to be underestimated, both for what it offers and for the low maintenance prices that by tonnage it guarantees, in spite of its potential.

Meloria, a 1974 specimen, is a winner in several regattas and, to date, is also suitable for cruising. On board she offers between 4 and 5 berths, a full galley, chart table, toilets and a retractable dining table, usable both below and above deck. Complete with every available sail, she also boasts an 8-horsepower Mercury outboard-with new propeller-overhauled in 2025, as well as double tanks, anchors and whatever else is needed on board. The antifouling is also fresh, done in June 2025. Finally, until December, she has paid mooring at the Italian Yacht Club of Genoa. You can find out the full ad, price and photos HERE

IMPALA 35 (10.50 m)

Signed by Sparkman & Stephens in the early 1970s, the Impala 35 is one of the great designs to come out of Shipyard 71, an S&S-curated reinterpretation of the already excellent S&S34-which won the Sydney-Hobart in ’69. Sleek and harmonious, with the Impala 35 you have the just-longer, Italian-style version, an excellent boat, extremely harmonious and with classic lines to say the least.

Launched in 1972, the specimen for sale is in excellent condition and ready to sail. On board she offers a tri-radial jib, battened mainsail, spinnaker and her tangon, and furling jib. On the upgrades side, the rigging turns out to have been changed in 2023, while also on board are an anchor windlass, MaxProp propeller, Raymarine 4000 autopilot, not to mention all the appropriate extras. The engine, however, is a 25-horsepower Ruggerini. You can find out the full ad, price and photos HERE

ELAN 37 (11.16 m)

With a sporty disposition, signed by Humphreys, the Elan 37 is a hull yes for cruising, but also well suited to circuits between buoys, strong with powerful lines capable of good performance at all gaits. The model for sale, from 2005, is then a one-owner, apparently in excellent condition.

The rigging has been rebuilt, as has the engine (from specialist workshop). The batteries (Mastervolt 130ha) are new, a package to which is then added a 150ha solar panel. On the sail stock front, however, there is a battened mainsail with Selden triradial hydranet trolleys (Veleria incidences), a triradial hydranet genoa (incidences) and a Banks sails membrane jib, battened. A spinnaker is then added and, of course, the tangon. The wheel rudder, however, is made of carbon. You can find out the full ad, price and photos HERE

IW-40 S&S (11.9 m)

An excellent design by Sparkman & Stephens, this 40-footer from the Swedish shipyard was born in 1977 and, immediately, was recognized as an exceptional boat, both on the deep-sea sailing front and for her good speed capabilities. Designed for the discerning cruiser, looking for performance as much as comfort, she was able to gather a not inconsiderable following that, to this day, makes her particularly popular.

The hull for sale, from 1981 and visible in Genoa, underwent a total refit in 2014 and 2021, and now features a replaced engine, new deck, and a total anti-osmosis treatment performed. The mast, from 2011, is oversized. Be able to find out the full ad, price and photos HERE

IW-40

VAGABOND 47 (14.3 m)

Made by Velmare, with the Vagabond 47 we are confronted with the classic 1970s bluewater, a hull designed for cruising comfort, suitable for long voyages and therefore strong with every attention on the interior and living room side. Equipped with a particularly powerful engine, it was designed to go anywhere regardless of the wind.

This is well demonstrated by the hull for sale, dated 1978, in fact strong with a 120-horsepower Perkins… Blue water super-equipped, complete with mainsail, genoa and foresail, rollable -as well as a Gennaker- the hull in question then boasts offers complete instrumentation, radar, autopilot, Bow Thruster Vetus, Shenker Desalinator and whatever else is needed for long stays at sea and safe navigation. With this in mind, then, also worth mentioning is the Generator. Be able to find out the full ad, price and photos HERE
