What is new is that victory will be awarded to the first boat in the ORC overall standings, and there will also be the Italian Cup for Clubs, awarded to the first club in the standings that fields two boats, one in the A-B group of larger boats, and one in the small boat group. The club that wins the trophy will be able to display it at its premises for one year and may apply to organize the next edition of the Italian Cup at its home base, or at another chosen location.
Coastal and between-the-buoys races are scheduled, and a total of 52 boats are entered (29 in Group 1, 23 in Group 2), with some of Italy’s best offshore boats at the start. ENTRY LIST
