Here it is. Finally! Hallberg-Rassy’s new “baby,” the 370 (12.13 × 3.75 m) was photographed for the first time under sail.
Hallberg-Rassy 370
So let’s find out about it, the latest creation from the Swedish yard that produces the globetrotting boats that are among the most highly regarded for build quality. The Hallberg-Rassy 370, is the new bluewater intended to fit in between the 340 and 400. This boat stands as the quintessential embodiment of the Swedish yard’s DNA: it combines cutting-edge design with the timeless, classic touch that fans of the brand know.
Hallberg-Rassy 370: a classic with a modern soul
Hallberg-Rassy 370 No. 1 has been launched; during last August’s Open Yards, those who visited the factory were able to admire her in the advanced stages of construction. German Frers has signed off on a modern and efficient hull shape, but it is below the waterline where the real leap forward in performance and safety lies: like all current models, the 370 is equipped with a double rudder wheel and twin blades for optimal control of the boat.
Aft, the cockpit is large and functional, and you can choose to equip it with a removable table or a fixed one in lacquered teak. The 370 can be ordered with bow and also stern propellers, making maneuvering in port extraordinarily easy. The sail plan is designed for ease of use. Two features stand out for innovation in this size, namely the mainsail sheet system with rails positioned in front of the windshield (to free up space in the cockpit) and the jib sheet rails positioned on the deckhouse above the cabin, so that very tight upwind angles can be achieved.
Below deck what do we have?
The 370’s interior is spacious and airy, available in classic Khaya mahogany or bright light European oak. The galley is large and introduces new options; in addition to the cockpit refrigerator, in fact, owners can add a front-opening refrigerator and a top-loading freezer built into the work table seat.
For those who like the comfort of home, the front refrigerator can also be replaced by a dishwasher. On the starboard side, Hallberg-Rassy offers a revolutionary choice for this size: instead of a traditional sofa, there are two armchairs, as well as a bar cabinet and bottle rack towards the bow. The forward master cabin is set up with a traditional 2.04 m-long double bed and a side seat with a beauty cabinet dedicated to the genitl sex. Aft, on the other hand, is the guest cabin with a 2.04 m-long double bed.

Away with the mainsail! The DolceVela concept is what vacationing boaters demand (and already do)
We could provocatively call it as “Mainsail Trial” the DolceVela concept, that is, the mainsailless boat of which the first model, DolceVela 48, is already sailing (the two smaller versions, DolceVela 34 and 42, are also available). But in reality,
