Two very different catamarans, two Classic Boats and one modern cruiser. These are the five hulls you will find explored in the next few rows, all for sale on our used boat market and all ready to meet the most varied needs. From 5 to 17.5 meters, passing through dinghies, boats and cruisers, here are this week’s five hulls for sale.

Catamaran F16 Bimare (5 m)

Let’s start with the smallest, a Formula 16 catamaran, better known as the F16. 5 meters long, 2.5 meters wide, and officially recognized as an ISAF class, it is the smaller sister of the F18. Fast, fun, and versatile to say the least, it can be enjoyed either as a double or as a single.

The model for sale, produced in 2012 (with certificate), was completely overhauled in late 2022 and is ready to sail. Mast and stick are carbon, while mainsail, jib and gennaker are provided, as are the trampoline cover and gennaker cover.

Challenger Scout 24 (7.3 m)

Designed by Mauric and Gaubert and produced from 1970 to 1979, the Challenger Scout is a small 7.3-meter cabin cruiser, but particularly habitable in function of its 2.5-meter beam, thus boasting a double forward berth and two aft berths, as well as a galley and toilet. Suitable, then, for both short-handed day-to-day outings, as well as small cruising, she is both an ideal boat for those not looking for great commitment, as well as for those new to the world of sailing.

The model for sale, Grenouille, launched in 1978, offers a complete interior and various accessories (including radio, depth sounder, compass etc.) and boasts an 8-horsepower Johnson engine, 2 sail games, a spinnaker, and twin fuel tanks.

Hanse 315 (9.45 m)

Compact, yet spacious, the Hanse 315 is a small-to-large cruiser true to the shipyard’s line, thus offering, in small dimensions, a vessel ready to meet the needs of the cruiser as well. The 2007 model for sale is 9.45 meters long and is presented in excellent condition, thanks to constant and documented maintenance.

On board are a 30-hp Yanmar engine with saildrive (headset replaced 2018) with 490 hours of operation, a full batten mainsail on trolleys, and a 2017 Zaoli self-tacking jib (Furlex 2021 furling). There is also an electric windlass, pro charger, VHF, and full instrumentation (including pilot). The interior is itself complete with a refrigerator, oven, water heater, shower, and cockpit shower. The toilet is electric, and there is a wall-mounted TV and stereo on board.

Zuanelli Fax (9.60 m)

Signed by the legendary Jezequelnel 1991, the Fax is a solid, safe, yet deeply sporty boat. A 1992 Belfax, she has been maintained in perfect condition of hull, hull (no osmosis) and interior, spending at least 2 months each season on dry dock for routine maintenance. The 20-horsepower Volvo engine, model 2003-20120S, has been serviced annually.

Belfax, equipped with a tiller rudder, has been optimized to be able to participate successfully in club regattas as well: she is equipped with Jiber Ubi Maior jib furler with rod forestay, the rest of the rigging was replaced in its entirety in 2018. The backstay has terminals with hoist, adjustable, in textile, same for the forestay. The keel exit profile, made of lead, was optimized by a professional to improve performance. Ipanema 58 (17.8 m)

Designed by Berret-Racoupeau, built by Fountaine Pajot and launched in 2017, the Ipanema 58 is a 17.81-meter-long cruising catamaran. The model in question, offers 5 cabins and 5 bathrooms (complete with shower stalls each), as well as rooms for possible crew.

Also on board are: 2x Volvo Penta 110 hp engines, a 13.5 KW generator, a 180 liter per hour watermaker, an air conditioner, and solar panels. AIS and radar are not lacking. On the equipment front, however, there are 6 electric winches on board, a battened mainsail, mast and boom (park avenue), and hydraulic davits for the tender.
