The Nuncas company boasts a history more than a century long: in 2025, 105 years have passed since the first “raising of the shutter” of the Milan store in Piazza San Sepolcro. The person who founded it was named Nunzio Cassata: the brand was born from the crasis of the name and surname. After years as a leader in the household sector, Nuncas today creates Marine with the same spirit that has animated the company for more than a century.
For many years, Nuncas has been offering items dedicated to sportsmen and women who practice a wide variety of sports on an amateur basis, particularly runners, cyclists, but also sailors, taking care of the equipment and garments of sportsmen and women, since these are subjected to continuous washing at low temperatures so as not to ruin the fibers with which they are woven. The thought to boating came from the desire to also take care of boats, yachts and super yachts with sail and motor because they are a natural extension of one’s home and where one spends unforgettable days with loved ones and friends.
“The emergence of new fabrics, new upholstery materials, new appliances, and new regulations continually engage our R&D lab in creating new answers to emerging needs and ensuring the survival of those that are still useful. Our in-depth knowledge of home care and cleaning needs led us to want to extend our product ranges by creating Nuncas Marine, the result of love, expertise and specific, high-level experience. Nuncas Marine is the new frontier of innovation in the company because the boat is, like the home, a magical place and where the culture for beauty care reaches its highest level,” says Luca Manzoni, CEO of Nuncas. Today the Nuncas Marine universe consists of 18 different references, some of them in double format; there are four ranges and they address the different materials or needs on board: specific products for teak, for RIB and gelcoat, the Everyday products for interiors and the Confort line.
One unique feature distinguishes them from products on the world market: being completely biodegradable in seawater. All the products you buy that are required by law to be biodegradable are so in the terrestrial environment, but not in the sea.
