Armare Ropes adds another chapter to its Classic line, the one dedicated to ropes for vintage boats, by launching Galea Rope, a new rope dedicated to owners and riggers who do not want to give up vintage charm without compromising performance. Developed for vintage boats, so suitable for many Classic Boats, Galea Rope is a three-tie twisted rope made with a mix of Polyester and Cordura, with a vintage look but performance in step with modern technology. It is the answer for those seeking grip, handling and reliability on board, in perfect harmony with the lines and materials of the great sailing queens.
Classic aesthetics, modern technology
Galea Rope is distinguished by its three-wood kernel construction, a traditional construction reminiscent of the hemp ropes used in the past, reinterpreted, however, with an advanced mix of Polyester and Cordura. The result is a line that in elegance and sophistication, with a Melange Hemp-White coloration, is reminiscent in every way of the ropes of yesteryear, and in fact has been carefully designed to match the style of classic boats. The novelty, however, lies in the materials used, which make it possible to restore value to the original spirit of the boats without sacrificing the strength of the latest generation of polymers: modern performance masked by retro charm.

The combination of materials provides Galea Rope with out-of-the-ordinary abrasion resistance and superior grip, both between the hands and on the winches. This means more control in every situation, safer maneuvers, and usability that remains excellent even when wet or under stress.
