B&G, 70 years of innovation

For nearly 70 years synonymous with innovation, precision and passion for the sea, B&G is now a world leader in the design of technological instruments dedicated to sailors, from amateurs to professionals. Its latest jewel is the new Zeus SR chartplotter, equipped with a new 8-core Qualcomm processor and interface for an optimized navigation experience. “Zeus SR is a major enhancement to B&G’s offering,” explains Kevin Steinbraker, Vice President and General Manager Digital Systems at Navico Group. “By combining unprecedented data processing power with an intuitive design, it improves the time and quality of navigation: we offer sailors a tool that not only enhances the onboard experience, but also delivers the reliability and accuracy essential for safe navigation.
Zeus SR marks the beginning of a new era in chartplotter power with its 8-core processor offering a smoother and faster experience. In addition, quick transitions from one app to another provide access to immediate information, and the use of C-MAP charts is revolutionized as a result, enabling smooth zooming and zooming out. The redesigned interface is then user-friendly, allowing for smooth navigation between apps. And sailors can also count on total control of the plotter, thanks to three hybrid control options (touch, rotary knob, and keypad), which simplify use in every navigation.
