It is time to say ENOUGH to meridians and parallels.
They should be abolished as soon as possible.
They represent a dangerous obstacle to navigation.

When Lele Panzeri sent us this “piece” on meridians and parallels, we in the newsroom were taken aback and then we laughed our heads off. It reminded us a bit of Achille Campanile’s “Tragedies in Two Jokes.”
For those who don’t know him, Lele is a well-known advertising creative. We have been waiting for his “pearl,” not least because his last piece on the most effective mooring in the bow (read, commented on) was far too “serious” for his usual style!
By the way, if you want to learn all the secrets of creativity from him-in sailing, know that he is organizing creative and pataphysical sailing courses for September and October on his boat: the Vampa, an exceptional Classic Boat. A 1979 Baltic 39 C&C in splendid shape.
