SoloSailor Andrea Lodolo is completing, aboard Bibi, his 11-meter Rustler 36, the 4,000-mile qualifying run for the Golden Globe Race 2026: the legendary 30,000-mile nonstop, unassisted solo round-the-world race on vintage hulls.
Reporting from the Atlantic Ocean, en route to Cape Verde the SoloSailor(his story here), tells us about his feat and his excitement, sharing technical solutions, little tricks and ingenious ideas that can come in handy not only for those who dream of the ocean, but also for those who sail by cruise.

Andrea Lodolo is the creator of the Yacht Safety Management System, which he presented in the Journal of Sailing in several installments (you can find them below).
