The year 2025 is perhaps an interlude year for the boating industry but one that nonetheless for sailing marks the arrival of many new boats. Our editorial staff beat the length and breadth of Italian and international docks and shipyards on the hunt for projects, newly presented or launched boats, to snap a picture of the 2025 that awaits us. But not only that, our radar is always on, and not only on boat shows, because other major shipyards that were not physically present at the recent Boot in Dusseldorf also have their new products on the launch pad, which will then arrive in turn between next spring and fall.
After the review from 11 to 15 meters, here are 6 more new entries this time Big, from 16 to 27 meters.
16.85 m – Dufour 54 / Dufour Yachts
A major innovation for this new Dufour 54 is the front cabin, which is available in two different versions: master suite or master cabin. The suite version is equipped with an island bed perpendicular to the hull. A great innovation also inspired by the world of catamarans. This arrangement allows full use of the sea view and gives the feeling of being in a real hotel suite. The other version, however, is the classic one. DISCOVER MORE.

New sailboats 2025. 17.50 m – Wauquiez 55 / Wauquiez
A “breakthrough” boat the new Wauquiez 55, designed to refresh a brand often considered anchored in tradition.
The challenge was to combine the efficiency of a racing boat with the comfort of a deck saloon: a yacht with a dual identity characterized by a distinctive design with “arched” edges running along the bulwarks, an inverted bow, and a long integrated dolphin boat, and, above all, equipped to be a perfect blue water from long sailings. The Hallberg Rassy 69 is a boat that carries with it the yard’s history and tradition, hence the choice of the center-cockpit solution, with a level of construction and attention to detail that reflects the Hallberg philosophy in every way. The boat will be presented in the basic version with a carbon mast and boom, the 365 square meters of upwind sail area hinting at a good performance trend as well as the comfort feature the boat is designed for. A boat that represents a new frontier for the yard and Ice Yachts’ entry into the large luxury sailing yacht segment. The look winks at the style of modern sporty maxi yachts, but also recalls the lines of previous Ice yachts for example in the shapes of the minimally styled deckhouse. The ICE 80 Blue Water Sport is the result of a well-established partnership between Ice Yachts and the Felci Yacht Design studio, with which the shipyard has created a number of high-performance projects over the past decade, including the iconic ICE 70. That could be how we could define Maxi Dolphin’s next jewel, the MD80, a Botin&Partners project, which will come to life in the Franciacorta shipyards. A boat with an almost totally flushdeck, and a particular cockpit that is very sheltered and partially separated from the rigging area. Double rudder blade and telescopic keel for appendages. A true Italian jewel.
