X-Yachts’ new XR 41, in both its Sport and Race versions, is equipped with B&G instrumentation. Thanks to an interesting exchange between Matt Eeles, Product Director of B&G, and Kræn Brinck Nielsen, CEO of X-Yachts, in the video we find out what were the most important points of collaboration between the two brands.
The boat, as Kræn Brinck Nielsen himself says was designed first of all…:“To participate in and win the upcoming ORC Worlds. The market had been waiting for a while for such a product from X-Yachts…..”
“The demands of shipowners are changing,” Matt Eeles relates instead. data collection is increasingly important. Both crews and shipyards demand to know, and keep, a great deal of numbers and information from aboard, starting with loads on the hull and equipment “.
