Over the years of the VELA Cup we have seen it all: fast gliding boats on the water and pairs of boats proceeding side by side to chat during the race. Very small dinghies, superboats of more than 20 meters, classic and vintage boats, carbon “bolids.” Familiar and relaxed crews, professional teams.
All welcome to the VELA Cup
In short, all kinds of owners and crews are welcome on our sailing circuit. There are owners who try to bring out the full potential of their boat, half a knot at a time, and others who prefer to be in the kitchen preparing a good plate of spaghetti even for breakfast.
This is to tell you that no matter what kind of shipowner you are, the VELA Cup is for you.

What is the VELA Cup 2025
It is the regatta/festival circuit organized by the Giornale della Vela in the most beautiful places in Italy, from May to October with prizes for (almost) all participants. A perfect opportunity to experience the sea, whatever your spirit and your boat: on the water and on land, experience a weekend of excitement.
