IceYachts, the Italian shipyard specializing in prestige semi-custom performance cruiser-style sailing yachts, has announced the design of the new ICE 56, designed by Felci Yachts Design studio. A boat that draws inspiration from the good things the yard’s previous models have shown, one in particular.
ICE 56 – THE PROJECT
ICE 56 in fact takes the best from the success of the ICE 52, with no less than 20 units built and appreciated worldwide, but takes it to a new size, also incorporating elements that characterize the larger ICEs. With a design that retains the shipyard’s characteristic sporty DNA, the ICE 56 has an exterior line that harks back to the new 80-foot Maxi Ice, featuring a streamlined deckhouse, but with an important new feature compared to the smaller 52′: a larger glass area that gives the interior exceptional brightness and a panoramic view of the horizon.
Thanks to its 5-meter beam, the boat will have an extremely spacious cockpit, where a height-adjustable table will stand out, forming a unique sunbathing area when needed by taking advantage of the cockpit benches.
In total, the yacht has 3 cabins, each with its own dedicated bathroom, to ensure comfortable and intimate accommodation for the owner and guests. A fourth “guard” cabin, in place of the third bathroom, is also available upon request and is completely independent, with a small dedicated toilet as well.
