B&G, a Navico Group (Brunswick Corporation) brand of sailing electronics, recently unveiled its latest Zeus S Ultrawide display, designed to deliver an unprecedented experience. With a sleek and intuitive design, this chartplotter represents a significant step forward in nautical technology, making the dashboard more appealing and functional than ever before. The main feature of this display is the wide screen diagonal, allowing several instruments to be displayed simultaneously (with side-by-side screens) on one device.
Available in two sizes, 12 and 15 inches, the “ultra-wide” display stands out for its ability to present information in a clear and accessible manner. Preset dashboards dedicated to cruising and racing make it easy to access all the information you need in a single interface. Advanced display technology ensures crisp, detailed resolution, while specific navigation modes allow the information displayed to be tailored to different operational needs, whether it is for a multi-day cruise or a competitive regatta.
Advanced Features and Improved Security
The Zeus S Ultrawide is not only an aesthetically pleasing device, it is also equipped with B&G’s award-winning sailing features. These include SailSteer, Laylines and StartLine, essential tools for optimizing racing performance. In addition, the new chartplotter integrates detailed C-MAP Discover X charts, optimized for the device, which offer high levels of detail thanks to high pixel density.
Another innovative feature is C-MAP Safety Alerts, which automatically warn navigators of potential hazards along the route, such as shallow waters or buoys. With the X-Chart Manager feature, users can easily manage chart updates directly from the device, making navigation even safer and easier.
Price and availability
The B&G Zeus S Ultrawide was unveiled at the latest boot in Düsseldorf. The 12-inch model is priced at €2,999 + VAT, while the 15-inch model is available for €3,699 + VAT. The new B&G Zeus S Ultrawide display not only simplifies navigation but also improves safety on board, making it an ideal choice for sailors who want the latest technology on board for a boat that is always on the cutting edge.
