A lively 2025 is expected for Dufour, which has two new models on the launching pad, the already announced Dufour 48 and the future Dufour 54, which will be the next flagship and replaces the 530. The former will make her debut at the Palma Boat Show in April, while the latter (both designed by Felci/Ardizio Design) will be previewed at the fall shows in Palma and Genoa.
Dufour 54 – What a boat it will be
A major innovation for this new Dufour 54 is the forward cabin, which is available in two different versions: master suite or master cabin. The suite version has an island bed perpendicular to the hull. A great innovation also inspired by the world of catamarans. This arrangement allows full use of the sea view and gives the feeling of being in a real hotel suite. The other version is the classic one. There are two versions of the dinette, with galley all on the right or with sink on the left and cooking area on the right. In the version with kitchen only on one side, the sofa on the left is larger and a chart table is also added. In general, interiors are available with 3 cabins and 4 bathrooms, or even in the charter version with 4 cabins and 4 bathrooms, in which case two smaller ones are made in the bow. These layout options are also possible thanks to the boat’s beam, 5.25 meters, with a width that does not narrow too much at the bow. At the stern, unfailing is the small beach for descending into the water and the outdoor barbecue. Thedraft is kept to 2.4 meters, with nearly 5 tons in ballast weight. Dimensions regarding sail area are not yet known.
