Hamilton Khaki Field Murph 38mm_H70405130_detail 3
The new version of Hamilton’s 38mm Khaki Field Murph combines a black dial with a steel strap. The watch is water-resistant to a depth of 100 meters.

It was 2014 when one of director Christopher Nolan’s most popular science fiction films, Interstellar, was released in theaters. On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, Hamilton has relaunched a watch created specifically for a character in the film in two new 38 mm variants. The model in question is the Khaki Field Murph, created specifically for the film Interstellar and first appeared on the market in 2019 in a 42 mm version. It is a timepiece suitable for both formal and informal outfits, perfect with both elegant attire (such as a classic tuxedo) and more typical casual wear aboard a sailboat (such as a thermal sweatshirt and a dock jacket). The new variant is a different version of the smaller 38 mm, which was first introduced to the market in 2022.

Also new, again in the 38 mm variant, is the Khaki Field Murph with a white dial and black leather strap.

The classic black dial is now combined with a steel bracelet, which is much more durable and versatile, and more suitable for use on boats, with a retail price of 1075 euros. Also debuting, however, is the new white dial, reminiscent in its color of the moon and in some ways reminiscent of exploration-not only the space exploration that is part of the film’s plot, but also exploration by sea. This dial version is paired with a black leather strap with a steel pin buckle and is sold at a price of 995 euros. The Khaki Field Murph is a watch water-resistant to 10 bar (100 meters depth) powered by the H-10 automatic movement with 80 hours of autonomy, and the crystal is a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. It is perfect as a gift, even a Christmas gift, for a lover of the sea, but most of all all adventures!
