Recent boat shows have presented the public with all the new sailboats that brands have been working on; in the third installment of our market survey, we presented you with what’s new up to 17 meters in length. Today we go further, up to almost 19 meters, with sailboats of various types, cruisers and more.
New sailboats: 17.50 m – Wauquiez 55
A “breakthrough” boat the new Wauquiez 55, designed to refresh a brand often considered anchored in tradition. The challenge was to combine the efficiency of a racing boat with the comfort of a deck saloon: a yacht with a dual identity characterized by a distinctive design (with “arched” edges running along the bulwarks, an inverted bow, and a long integrated dolphin trap that brings the overall length to 17.50 m) and, above all, equipped to be a perfect blue water from long sailings.
Type: Cruiser
17.60 m – Hanse 590
The new Hanse 590, kept so far in great secrecy by the German Group, will be the brand’s new flagship, replacing the 588 in the shipyard’s range. A boat that heralds huge spaces and solutions for easy cruising.
The design of the boat was entrusted to Berret- Racoupeau, who have designed an angular hull at the front, but trying to keep the bow exits streamlined despite a beam that would seem considerable. The hard top is offered as optional, while the forward sunbathing area is placed close to the deckhouse step.
Type: Cruiser
L.f.t.: 17.60 m; w.w.: 5.30 m; draught: 2.18/2.53 m; displacement: 22.90 t; zav: 5.90 t; sup. vel. 151 sq.m; berths: 6-10; base price: €824. 900.

2025 sailboats: 17.65 m – Bali 5.8
The Bali 5.8 promises XXL spaces without compromise. The salon-cockpit is the brand’s DNA, and once again the overhead door is repurposed to make indoor and outdoor one big room. The galley is generously sized, with tall cabinets for ample stowage, a large and convenient countertop. The dining area is designed to incorporate seating and a table for 12 people.
Also not to be overlooked is the fly bridge, a veritable covered terrace that serves as a lounge area as well as housing the external wheelhouse and rigging.
Type: Cruiser
L.f.t.: 16.70 m; w.: 4.85 m; draught: 2.70/3.00 m; displacement: 17.60 t; zav: 6.50; sup. vel. 176 sq. m; berths: 6-8;
18.27 m – Lagoon 60
Lagoon’s new 60 sailboat fits in between the 55 and the Sixty5, complementing the range in that luxury segment where yard is increasingly making its mark on the market. The real innovation for the Lagoon range, are the fold-down aft murals, which open to the sea, expanding the aft living area. The idea is to create a true terrace on the sea. The fly, as with all Lagoons, is the command area with all the maneuvers at your fingertips, but more importantly, it is the place to enjoy privacy and relaxation thanks to the large living room and sundecks.
Type: Cruiser
L.f.t.: 18.27 m; w.: 9.87 m; draught: 1.65 m; displacement: 34.6 t; zav: -; sup. vel. 222 sq. m; berths: 8-10;
18.47 m – CNB 62
Its predecessor, the Bordeaux 60, which pioneered in 2008, is a comfortable yacht with an innovative interior layout distinguished by a galley set amidships in front of the salon. Today, thanks to new forms
of hulls have gained even more volume without sacrificing performance. the CNB 62, designed by guru Philippe Briand, is the ideal synthesis between the comfort of a CNB 66 and the ease of use of a Bordeaux 60. A modern blue water with a Mediterranean style that combines long cruising with refined aesthetics.
Type: Fast Cruiser
L.f.t.: 17.05 m; w.: 5.15 m; draught: 2.30 / 2.90 m; displacement: 16.50 t; zav: -; sup. vel. 157 sq. m; berths: 6-8
