Continuing on the assembly line is ICE Yachts’ latest creation, theICE 64 Explorer, which will be launched next spring. As the name suggests, the futuristic new yacht signed by Felci Yacht Design will stand out as a boat created for adventure and prolonged life aboard.
A stern area never seen before
This can be understood at first glance by observing the cockpit, “enclosed” by a characteristic hard top that covers it entirely and contributes to new external volumes, with spaces that are always livable, protected from the sun and weather of all latitudes. Remaining in the aft area, theICE 64 Explorer features aninnovative sternplatform; designed as storage for the tender, thanks to the hard top support arch made of carbon and rotating, it will be possible to easily wing the tender and simplify boarding and disembarking operations. The bimini will also be equipped with solar panels to maximize energy efficiency, offering a sustainable approach to sailing.

There are two helm wheels on board ICE 64 Explorer, for optimal navigational control and superior maneuverability; in fact, this boat will offer even easier navigation, to suit the needs of owners who also want to undertake long voyages, without ever sacrificing safety and comfort. The shallow draft (the bulb is at 2.8 m) will also allow easy sailing in shallow waters, effectively expanding exploration opportunities. The hull and deck construction is done with infusion lamination from female mold and the use of hybrid fibers to ensure a combination of structural rigidity and noise and vibration reduction.
The interior of the ICE 64 Explorer

As mentioned, the ICE 64 Explorer is designed as a boat for living, so theinterior also features spacious and bright spaces. Also designed by Felci Yacht Design , with a layout featuring three cabins and a spacious and cozy dinette with a sofa bed, which is another distinctive feature of the ICE 64. Special emphasis was placed on the study oflighting, as the he natural light will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Also in the dinette will be the galley, equipped with a large worktop and high-end appliances. ICE Yachts wanted to think of the aft cabin as a versatile space that goes beyond its traditional function. In fact, this berth is designed so that it can be easily transformed into a floating office, offering ICE 64 Explorer owners an uncommon flexibility of use that will truly allow them to experience this boat 365 days a year.
