Arca triumphs again at the Barcolana 2024. Here are the rankings

Arca SGR, the 100-footer helmed by Furio Benussi and his 17-year-old daughter Marta, triumphed for the second year in a row at the 2024 Barcolana. With a time of less than an hour and a half, around noon, the 100-foot Maxi that had already triumphed in the 2023 edition of the Barcolana also crossed the finish line first at Barcolana 2024, edition number 56. This year’s Barcolana saw a total of 1,757 registered boats and started as scheduled on time, at 10:30 a.m. It was an immediate tussle between Prosecco Doc, Arca and Anemos II (with Mauro Pelaschier and Tommaso Chieffi aboard, who finished seventh in real time with a time of 1h44’06”).
Arca makes about 9 knots at the first mark, and takes the lead with about 5 minutes ahead of Prosecco Doc. Also in the lead group is the ICE Nice Fiamme Gialle , which will finish third in real time. In the end it will be Arca the boat that will cross the finish line first, with a lead of just over two minutes over Prosecco Doc, the second in the real time ranking.
