In addition to the latest Italian news concerning the acquisition of Porto Mirabello, a major marina located in the Gulf of La Spezia, near Cinque Terre, D-Marin – which brings the number of managed marinas in Italy to six – has recently launched a very interesting feature for all customers with annual contracts.
It is the D-Marin – Premium Marinas app, part of the “Connected Marina” initiative designed to transform the way boaters interact with marinas.
Available on all mobile operating systems (iOS and Android), this centralized platform provides annual-contract customers with a personalized hub that brings together information, services and key functions, simplifying every aspect of managing their berth.
How the D-Marin app works
The app allows users to communicate directly with port teams, book and renew berths in real time, make payments and complete remote check-in, reducing waiting time. One of the most innovative features of the app is the complete control of the boat via the
D-Marin’sSmart Pedestal, which allows remote management of the power and water supply, monitoring and optimizing consumption directly from the app without having to go to the marina office.
Another important benefit offered by the app is security.
Owners of annual moorings can monitor the status of their boat in real time, thanks to D-Marin’s autonomous sensors that provide constant updates on key parameters such as bilge, temperature, battery status and level, and boat position.
Monitoring is done through a sensor kit that is provided free of charge to all annual customers who book a berth at a port in the D-Marin network.
In addition, customers can stay updated on events, special offers, and news from each marina.
