If you are looking for a watermaker that is efficient, easy to install and does not take up as much space on your boat, Schenker’s Zen 100 is an ideal solution.
With low power consumption, a compact design and the option of remote control, this watermaker will allow you to take on small cruises without worrying about the availability of fresh water on board.
Although watermakers are now included as standard on many large boats, they are not always offered (even as an option) on small and medium-sized models.
If your boat is not equipped with a watermaker at the time of purchase, never fear: there is a perfect solution for boats in this category.
The Zen 100 from the Italian company Schenker Watermakers is designed specifically for small and medium-sized boats, and allows you to produce up to 100 liters of fresh water per hour with a consumption of only 400 watts.
Compact size and light weight
The Zen 100 is an extremely lightweight and quiet desalinator that is particularly suitable for boats with limited space.
With dimensions of 750 x 522 x 195 mm and a weight of only 53 kilograms, the desalinator can be easily installed even on small boats, thanks to its compact design that offers great positioning flexibility.
It can be mounted either vertically, such as a picture on an engineering compartment wall, or horizontally, such as in the bottom of a locker.
In addition to ease of installation, the Zen 100 operates on 12- or 24-volt power and also on AC, providing great versatility on board.
The 100-liter model is part of the Zen line, which includes desalinators with capacities ranging from 30 to 150 liters/hour, thus covering a wide range of needs.
One of the features that makes the Zen 100 particularly interesting is its energy recovery system, which reduces energy consumption during operation, keeping it at very low levels compared to other models on the market.
It also features remote start and stop via a remote panel, and the pressure adjusts automatically, ensuring optimal operation at all times.
For those who want even more advanced control, an optional touchscreen panel is available, allowing the desalinator to be programmed to turn on and off via a timer, making the system fully customizable to the owner’s needs.
