132 years of history
Hamilton’s story begins 132 years ago in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, but it was in the 1940s that it made its entry into the maritime world.
At the behest of the U.S. Navy, which made the demand for reliable and accurate marine chronometers, Hamilton developed of Model 21, a very accurate marine chronometer that with the entry of the United States into World War II became an indispensable instrument.
Khaki Navy Scuba
The modern evolution of that relationship with the sea is represented by the Khaki Navy Scuba.
Its distinguishing feature is the 40mm-diameter steel case, topped by an aluminum graduated bezel, which frames a black dial on which the small parts stand out in the three colors, red/pink, orange and yellow.
Engineered for cutting-edge performance and design, the watch is powered by the innovative H-10 automatic movement with a Nivachron balance spring, a state-of-the-art alloy that ensures precision even when exposed to magnetic fields and temperature changes.
In addition, the 80-hour power reserve ensures the watch will run perfectly for more than four days without having it on your wrist.
Staying on the subject of performance, the anti-reflective sapphire crystal allows optimal readability of the information displayed on the dial, which, in low-light conditions, can rely on the SuperLumiNova coating of indexes and hands.
