4 Used Classic Boats from 6 to 14 meters
Classic Boat certainly means that they are hulls over twenty-five years old in design, but that does not mean they cannot fully satisfy us.
You just have to find the right boat for your needs; the year doesn’t matter in this regard.
In fact, some 80s bluewater still know how to say their piece, more than you expect.
In any case, here are the 4 classics for sale and/or as gifts. A safe used car: guarantees the Sailing Newspaper!

Melisande; a gem by English Cutter (1928)
We open with a not inconsiderable treat, a piece of history: a 1928 British cutter, a classic of style and elegance.
Designed by Alfred Westmacott (a particularly famous naval architect in his time), she was built at Woodnutts shipyard in the Isle of Wight.
She is an extremely pleasant hull, rich in nautical history and culture.
She also won the Mopi Award in 2006 for having the most original documentation: these are available, including the original booklet still handwritten and bearing the names of the various successive owners and the Lloyd sheet recording her registration.
Over the years Covid has been somewhat neglected on the paint side, which is easy to remedy.
In compensation, she is one of the very few vintage boats that has no seepage (leakage) from the live work!
Note not unimportant. For more information, HERE is the full announcement
Muscadet, a small-big masterpiece
Let’s move on to the gift boat, a small-big masterpiece of the 1970s. It is a Muscadet, designed by the great Philippe Harlè in 1963 and produced until 1977 in over 1,000 units. In Italy, it was produced by Sartini. Now, leaving aside the fact that it is a gift, why on earth is a small 6.48-meter a rare occasion? Simple, the Muscadet is one of the boats that made nautical history, a boat for everyone, simple, versatile and particularly marine. Perfect for those just starting out or those on a tight budget.
For that matter, it is an easy-to-handle, easy-to-maintain and easy-to-carry cabin cruiser, perfect for short trips or boating camping. For more information, HERE is the full announcement
Genesis 43, never had anyone dared so much
The third boat for sale is a milestone of 1990s Italian boating.
Designed by the great Andrea Vallicelli, she was born to break the mould with the past by presenting, from the very beginning, a decidedly innovative design.
It was a boat out of the chorus, full of ingenious solutions and excellent in sailing.
The Genesis for sale on the market, from 1997, to date has had only one owner and, the last ordinary and extraordinary maintenance dates back to 2023…not to be underestimated if one is looking for a good cruiser for one’s outings. For more information, HERE is the full announcement
Marks 47, a great sloop by Sciarrelli
Closing the train of boats, not by demerit, is an exceptional hull, a Marchi 47, designed by none other than Carlo Sciarrelli in 1976.
It is a 14.30-meter sloop with elegant lines and good pitch.
A marine boat, she has a fiberglass hull and teak deck, in this case redone in the late 1990s.
On board she offers up to 9 berths, 2 bathrooms and boasts a 60-horsepower engine.
This is a great design, not to be underestimated. For more information, HERE is the full announcement
