The Novus Line and Secure Line offerings from Armare Ropes are the ideal floating mooring lines in terms of high performance and durability.
These are two new high-performance Dyneema floating mooring lines. This is what they look like.
Novus Line
Mooring line characterized by exceptional holding and durability characteristics, with a new formulation featuring a 12-tie single braid construction with a construction mix of Dyneema SK78 fibers, Polyolefins and abrasion-resistant fiber inserts.
Novus Line, in addition to being buoyant, stands out for its high tensile strengths, excellent flexibility, low water absorption along with excellent shear and abrasion resistance, making it the ideal choice for floating moorings of long lengths.
Novus Line is also easily spliced, thanks to its soft construction, using the appropriate method.
The line is available in standard diameters from 14 to 40 mm, in Yellow/White and Black/White colors.
Secure Line
Floating line intended primarily for long moorings of yachts, both sail and motor, when high working and breaking load, extreme lightness and reliability are required.
Secure Line is an 8-wood braid that can absorb shocks because of this while being constructed of Dyneema SK78.
The addition of a PU protective coating ensures that it has almost no water absorption.
Thanks to the use of Dyneema®, this line is particularly suitable for long moorings, for towing even large tenders, for emergency anchorages and more generally where it is essential to reduce the weight of the line, moving from traditional lines with large diameters to lines with reduced mass and high loads.
Secure Line therefore ensures high breaking load, extreme lightness, high visibility, high abrasion and cut resistance.
Secure Line is available in Yellow, Silver Gray and Hemp colors, in standard diameters from 10 to 48 mm. As with the other mooring lines in the catalog, Armare Ropes offers ample possibilities for customization, both in terms of color and finish, with the traditional craftsmanship that distinguishes the splicing work, the application of stainless steel redance and Cordura protectors.
