Olympics – How Italian sailing is doing
Jana Germani and Giorgia Bertuzzi, after an uphill first day, reared their heads again in day 2 and climbed the rankings up to third position thanks also to a victory on the day.
In the only race held so far in the men’s IQFoil Nicolò Renna, one of the special medal watchers, finished in second place.
Also doing well in the women’s boards was Marta Maggetti, who settled in second place with a 5-3 split.
Coming up should be, from day 1, even more wind, with the entry of the Mistral that will liven things up in the bay of Marseille.
