Nicholas Renna.
True, it is only the second day and the Olympics, besides being very long, is also an “ugly beast” to manage. Sailing Italy, however, has started off on the right foot and, caution aside, it is better to be at the top of the leaderboard than to have to chase from the very first days.

Germani – Bertuzzi
The class that sailed the most races, 6, is the 49er FX.
Jana Germani and Giorgia Bertuzzi, after an uphill first day, reared their heads again in day 2 and climbed the rankings up to third position thanks also to a victory on the day.
In the only race held so far in the men’s IQFoil Nicolò Renna, one of the special medal watchers, finished in second place.
Also doing well in the women’s boards was Marta Maggetti, who settled in second place with a 5-3 split.
