Armònia SGR Spa, an Italian asset management company, participated in the 22nd edition of the Grand Soleil Cup, held June 21-23, 2024 in the beautiful setting of the Costa Smeralda. This event was an important team-building opportunity aimed at strengthening ties among employees and promoting a passion for the sea and sustainability.

Armònia SGR Spa is an independent, manager-owned and -controlled asset management company that adopts a medium- to long-term investment strategy respectful of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) principles. Armònia’s founders and the other professionals on the investment team have significant and complementary experiences, providing investors with a unique competitive advantage in the Italian landscape.

“We create value through the consolidation of SMEs active mainly in sectors of manufacturing excellence characterized by high product quality. – says Alessandro Grimaldi, Founding Partner and CEO of Armònia – These sectors, typical of Made in Italy, have allowed the Italian economy to maintain its competitiveness and are the main drivers of growth in the coming years.”

The private equity firm focuses on small and medium-sized companies operating in international markets that have unexpressed growth potential and a relevant position in their market segment. The creation of “national champions” is done through a consolidation process based on a “buy and build” strategy, while meeting strict environmental requirements and supporting challenging ESG policies in line with European sustainability guidelines.

Among Armònia’s major investments is the Quick Group, Italy’s leading manufacturer of recreational boating equipment. Founded by the Marzucco family, Quick is an established player offering innovative components for yachts and superyachts, both sail and motor. With an international presence that continues to promote excellence and innovation in the marine industry. Since Armònia and Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR have entered the capital stock, Quick has completed four strategic acquisitions-Sanguineti, Nemo Industrie, Xenta and YMS. These acquisitions have strengthened the group’s position, enabling it to expand its product and service offerings with a keen eye on sustainability.

The Grand Soleil Cup 2024, co-hosted by Cantiere del Pardo in the picturesque setting of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, was attended by 38 crews from different nations. Despite adverse weather conditions, the event provided a valuable opportunity for the Armònia team to have a shared experience, strengthening ties and improving cohesion. In fact, team building allowed Armònia employees to experience playful moments combined with tactical moments closely related to racing and sailing. Going to sea requires perfect coordination among all crew members, something that reflects the need for effective collaboration and communication in the work environment as well.

The experience at the Grand Soleil Cup was a significant step for Armònia SGR, not only in terms of team building but also as a demonstration of its commitment to sustainable and innovative financial investments. Through this participation, Armònia reaffirms its dedication to creating value across the board, promoting excellence in the marine industry and respect for the environment.
