Lagoon 60
The new Lagoon 60.

A handful of inches over 18 meters (18.27 x 9.87 m) encapsulate the quintessential Lagoon shipyard: the new 60-footer will soon be at sea (at the Cannes Boat Show) and we can finally see the first images of it.

Lagoon 60 – What a catamaran it is

The real novelty of this catamaran can be seen in the aft area, which, thanks to the fold-down stern bulwarks, transforms into a terrace overlooking the sea.

Lagoon 60 – What spaces at the stern!

The aft area of this new Lagoon 60 catamaran becomes in effect a beach resort, where you can enjoy the crystal clear sea. A catamaran with the spaces of a real house, complete with extra-large furnishings and appliances so it feels, in terms of comfort, like being in a seaside villa.

The view from the Flybridge

Staying outside, there is a privileged 360-degree view on the flybridge, which is why the command post was also located here; an L-shaped sofa with a fold-down table and a large sundeck are other goodies found on the mezzanine level. Going down on the deck, the dinette is very wide and seamless, to ensure maximum comfort on board and to avoid unpleasant and painful foot problems. Much appreciated is the ability to go forward directly from the dinette and access the forward sofas without using the walkways.

Lagoon 60 – Interior

Below deck there is a choice of two configurations, with 4 or 5 cabins depending on requirements; between the two options, the difference in space is the galley, which can be moved to the dinette to make room for a double in the port hull.

Lagoon is proving increasingly environmentally conscious, and this 60-footer is also made with recycled resin and completely environmentally sustainable exterior upholstery.

News for all future owners: when you’re not on board, you can stay connected to your catamaran and keep everything in check with Seanapps technology: battery status, geolocation, and onboard cameras can be checked instantly via an app on your cell phone.
