The Faurby 430 is the latest from the Danish shipyard Faurby Yachts, established in 1976 in Lunderskov, southern Denmark .
A company that builds boats with a classic taste, with bow slips that go against current fashion, narrower than classic cruising boats, but extremely elegant and streamlined in shape. Cruising boats reminiscent of those of yesteryear, clearly Nordic in style characterized by obsessive attention to detail and strictly handcrafted construction.
The yard’s goal after all is to deliver boats designed to the owner’s requirements, especially in terms of theorganization of space below deck.
Faurby 430 – What a boat it is
At 13.60 m long, 3.75 m wide, the Faurby 430 will have a hull displacement of just over 8 tons. The overall measurements of the boat, which will certainly have a mirror-enclosed stern, following the trend already inaugurated with the rest of the shipyard’s range, have not yet been released. One “concession” of the Faurby 430 to modern design trends is the double rudder, as shown in the render. The deckhouse will be low on deck but long, continuing forward of the mast, with fenders wrapping around the cockpit.
Note how the width at 3.75 meters is narrower than the average cruiser on the market, which is well over 4 meters on this range. This, however, gives us the idea of a bolinier and marine boat, which will give satisfaction in sailing.
The customization possibilities are interesting, with different interior layouts offered and the possibility of furnishing the boat in a personal way, even deciding on the arrangement of light points.
