A start of the Champion’s Cup in Trani

The Trani Champions Cup, dedicated to boats with ORC tonnage, is a regatta that season after season is moving up the ladder until perhaps reaching a climax this year. With the Italian Offshore Absolute to be held in Brindisi at the end of June, the Trani event for many was an opportunity for a dress rehearsal ahead of the Italians.

It resulted in some excellent racing, thanks in part to particularly favorable sea conditions, with breezes often tense, even close to 20 knots with a formed wave, but overall sunny conditions.
