Backboss represents more than just a portable generator-it is a reliable companion for those who need power on the go, even on a boat. This accessory, made by the Italian company IDM of Montebelluna, is designed to ensure maximum convenience and reliable performance wherever you are, even when sailing. It is a portable gas oline-powered generator mounted on the frame of a backpack. Low weight, high power and portability are its main features. This is what it looks like.
A generator to carry on your back
Weighing only 13.5 kg, Backboss is remarkably light and easy to carry thanks to its ergonomic backpack design. This allows you to take it with you anywhere or store it as a backup generator on the boat, without having to deal with bulky installations. Starting the Honda 4T engine is simple and immediate, allowing you to enjoy up to 900 watts of power thanks to the built-in inverter.
But the peculiarities of Backboss do not end there. Equipped with a Schuko socket and a USB port, it can power a wide range of electronic devices, ensuring that you can charge your own devices or power essential equipment without any complications. Despite its efficiency, Backboss maintains a low noise level of just over 100 dB (A), ensuring a relatively quiet environment even during its operation.
Backboss: with lamps, it becomes a portable lighting system
For those who need extra brightness during power outages or emergency situations, Backboss also offers two 5400-lumen LED lamps as options. These extremely bright lamps can be connected directly to the portable generator, ensuring sufficient illumination at all times. The ability to connect multiple units in parallel and customize Backboss with colors and details on demand makes it even more suitable for specific needs.
