There is one more reason to visit the upcoming Venice Boat Show, scheduled for May 29 to June 2, 2024. It is a chance to get on board the boats of the Bavaria Yachts shipyard thanks to the presence of the official importer Gold Sail of Ravenna. Here are all the details and the boats that will be present.

The three models on display at the Arsenal

The Venice Boat Show will be held from Wednesday, May 29, to Sunday, June 2, and Gold Sail together with Bavaria invites you to discover the three boats that will be present in the P3 North area along the P1-P2 and P3 piers. For the occasion, it will be possible to visit the now well-known models Bavaria C42 e Bavaria C38 born from the successful collaboration between the German shipyard and designer Maurizio Cossutti, but above all there will be the highly anticipated new Bavaria C46, the model that won the prestigious European Yacht of the Year 2024 award.

Cossutti ‘s new design for Bavaria Yachts, confirms and improves the much-appreciated qualities of the C-Line by focusing on sailing performance while not sacrificing on-board comfort. The boat relies on the now “classic” V-shaped hull that Cossutti designed for the range. That is, with a “V” starting from the bow, thin along the waterline that widens as it reaches the deck providing more forward volume. The edge is very pronounced towards the stern and the maximum beam is set back: another solution to increase cabin space, living comfort and brightness.

Whether you love to sail as a small crew or as a family, whether you sail relaxed or in a more “sporty” mode, the Bavaria C46 can be optimally configured with six optional winch positions, over 100 square meters of upwind sail area, and optional Gennaker and Code 0.

The characteristic “V”-shaped bow and very pronounced aft edge of the hull designed by Cossutti increase stability, lengthen the waterline improving performance and giving greater sensitivity and mastery in maneuvering.

A cruising boat, for family use, demands large spaces below deck: a target achieved thanks to the particular shape of the hull, with a “V” starting from the bow, thin along the waterline that widens as it reaches the deck ensuring more forward volume. In addition to the very pronounced edge towards the stern, the maximum beam is set back: another solution to increase space in the cabins.

The small C-Line combines perfect sailing characteristics even with a small crew, easy handling and maximum use of interior space.

Edges and volumes in the bow also provide that interior volume otherwise unthinkable on a 38-foot boat, features that make the C38 a complete boat that can range from the charter audience to the most experienced owners.
