What are the most welcoming regions for yachting in Italy? We assessed, region by region, the health of tourism infrastructure and services dedicated to yachting in Italy.

The ranking of yachting region by region
As you can see, only one region is promoted with flying colors (green=good rating): it is Friuli Venezia Giulia, which mainly enjoys an excellent network of ports.
Following in between “good” and “fair” positions in our analysis of infrastructure and services along Italian coasts are six regions/areas: Liguria, Tuscany, Sardinia, Emilia Romagna, Veneto and Lake Garda.
This is followed by a “fair” rated patrol where seven regions/areas are found: Lake Maggiore and Como, Latium, Basilicata, Molise, Abruzzo, Marche. The situation is worse, with ratings between “fair” and “critical” for Apulia.
These are pains, with ratings between “critical” and “negative” for two regions: Campania and Sicily. “Negative” situation for Calabria. Health status analysis from a nautical tourism perspective encompasses a range of factors, not only port but also land-based infrastructure, ease of reaching the destination, and sea-based infrastructure (e.g., buoy fields).
