VELA Cup Brindisi, a step toward the East

There are those who participate in the Sport Boat category, using non-inferred sails such as spi, gennaker and code 0, and those who just want to have fun with friends and family, in the Cruising Boat category, with white sails. There are special prizes for those boats, including standard and fiberglass boats, at least 25 years old, the Classic Boats, and for the most beautiful boat in each stage (Elegant Boat). A breathtaking historical route

The route is breathtaking because we will sail close to the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve. A reserve and marine protected area covering an area of 1000 hectares or so and is considered an oasis between the land and the sea. Between sandy coves, transparent sea and posidonia meadows, the landscape of Torre Guaceto is the epitome of Mediterranean scrubland. It will be a spectacle to watch from the shore as the boats are paraded under sail.

On the occasion of VELA Cup Brindisi, mooring at the Brindisi Marina is free all weekend.
