Advanced Yachts’ A80 Mindfulness

An all-Italian queen of the sea will be on display at the Palma International Boat Show (April 25 – 28), we are talking about the latest A80 launched by Advanced Yachts, which will be on view at the Spanish show.

This A80 was designed by the Italian shipyard team, at the request of the owner, to sail around the world. A classy blue water, designed in water lines by Reichel/Pugh, and for overall deck and interior design by Nauta Design.

The boat will be on view at the Palma Boat Show, and the Advanced team will be on hand to explain the boat’s features and take them on a tour of this 80-footer that was created as a one-of-a-kind.

A80 – What boat is

The A80 Advanced Yachts

Advanced Yachts, founded 13 years ago by Antonella Di Leo and Marco Tursini, since its inception has specialized in building custom and semi-custom boats, this 80′ is a perfect summary of the yard’s philosophy of trying to sew boats to the needs of the owners/sailors who request them.

Advanced Italian Yachts has in fact established itself in recent years as a high-quality atelier , where the boat is made like a tailor-made suit for the customer. Where he sails , how he sails and when, are the starting points for tailoring a suit , which will allow for the best sailing experience and the best value for money , focusing investment on the points most important to the owner.

The Advanced A80 in the cockpit

Collaboration with internationally renowned naval design and architecture firms, such as Reichel/Pugh and Nauta Design, made it possible to create innovative shipboard architecture, with a semi-raised deckhouse that harmoniously integrates the superstructure into the hull, completely freeing the foredeck and providing unprecedented livability and safety. Mindfulness is more than just a boat; it is a “villa on the sea” that promises to redefine the concept of luxury cruising, offering a perfect synthesis of style, comfort and performance.

In fact, while the owner requested a boat where luxury comfort would be the beacon of the design, he absolutely did not want to give up the sporty performance of the hull conceived by the Reichel-Pugh studio. In fact, the boat has been outfitted with a North Sails 3Di sail inventory and will by no means give up trying her hand at racing as well, as in the case of the upcoming ARC rally in November, which she will take part in to head to the Caribbean, where she will spend the next few months.

For discerning sailors starting in late 2024, an A80 from Advanced Yachts will also be available for charter, in Caribbean areas, and more information can be obtained from the shipyard’s team at the Palma International Boat Show.

A80 – The Interior

The interior of the A80

Designed to transcend the temporal boundaries of nautical fashion, every element of this boat is balanced to perfection, offering an unparalleled sailing experience. The interior is a veritable masterpiece of brightness and spaciousness, with a spacious living area offering breathtaking panoramic views and a color palette dominated by light and dark oak tones designed to harmoniously delineate the different areas on board.

Aft, the guest area takes advantage of the wide beam (width) and extraordinary volumes, including height, of the hull: two double cabins followed by the full-width master cabin, where a large sofa and a long, deep desk overlooking the sea stand out. Truly extraordinary are the areas designed for relaxation, found in different areas of the boat.
