Do you remember the Sunbeam 40.1? A family cruiser born out of a collaboration between the Austrian shipyard Sunbeam and the Slovenians of Seaway. A boat with excellent build quality, classic lines and extreme solidity. After Sunbeam decided to exit the market above 32 feet, presenting a boat with an extremely modern and sporty look, with flared front volumes and an inverted bow (imported to Italy by YachtSynergy), Today this hull is reborn under a different name: Insieme 40.

The first hull will be ready in the spring. It will be a real rebirth, the project, born 10 years ago, returns to ply the seas with a new name. Together Yachts is the new German brand, with an Italian name, that acquired the Sunbeam 40.1 projects. The shipyard’s idea is to update and renew a hull that has already proven to be very successful, offering a breath of fresh air on the market.

The basic version of the boat is already super-equipped and ready to sail, without the need to add any optional extras. The price should start at 600,000 euros, ex-works, and include electronics, plotter, electric windlass, and even solar panels placed on the deckhouse under the boom. The idea is to aim for energy self-sufficiency, so in addition to solar panels, there may also be wind generators at the stern, where there is already provision to install them.

With a view to energy self-sufficiency, in addition to being able to install solar panels, the stern of Insieme 40 is arranged to have wind generators

While the water lines remain virtually the same as those of the Sunbeam 40.1, as far as the interiors are concerned, with a view to bluewater, the shipyard has made a stark choice: there will be only two cabins. Then eliminated the second aft cabin to make room for a technical room to stow everything needed for long sailing.

On Insieme 40 instead of the third aft cabin, there will be a technical room where to stow everything needed for long sailing
