Now it is time to find out about all 32 2024 catamaran yards.
Advanced Yachts
The Italian “boutique” yard of custom boats debuts the two hulls with with the new A72 Cat (22.00 x 9.82 m), designed by Olivier Racoupeau.
The Italian brand does not compromise and has designed a premium boat, a philosophy that also characterizes the production of its monohulls. Of the catamaran, featuring an “extra-luxury” flybridge, there will exist a galley up and a galley down version, as well as different cabin proposals so as to prioritize dedicated space.

Catamarans 2024. Alubat
The Alubat brand is best known in the boating world for the production of the Ovni and the Cigale, marine and handcrafted aluminum monohulls designed to sail around the world.
The shipyard has decided to transfer the same concepts to the world of catamarans: theOvni Cat 48 is currently still a project, but it will soon come to market. A modern twist has been added to the yard’s traditional DNA with the design of Mortain&Mavrikios, who designed the boat.

Catamarans 2024. Antares Catamarans
The Antares shipyard is based in Argentina and specializes in the construction of cruising catamarans, including for charter, built in an artisanal style.
Today, production is focused on just one model, theAntares 44, which has been updated in exterior and interior details and is now offered in Hybrid and GT versions: the real difference between the two lies in the powertrain, while the interior layout remains unchanged at 3 cabins, but with different customization options in the furnishings.

Aventura Catamarans
The French shipyard today has a range with two models, theAventura 37 already sailing, and the 45 still under construction.
The design is entrusted to Studio Lasta, which conceived a silhouette typical of cruising catamarans, with the special feature that the 37-footer also has a small flybridge. The future 45 will also have a mini front cockpit, without eliminating the net between the hulls, as well as a wider flybridge, on which maneuvering is also deferred.

Bali Catamarans
The Catana Group brand is now one of the world’s largest manufacturers of cruising catamarans, one of the leaders in the charter market.
In production Bali has 7 models from 11 to 16 meters, all catamarans with pure cruising characteristics, with a variety of layouts also designed for charter. One of the features shared by all Bali is the front cockpit, with no net between the two hulls, an element on which the shipyard has pioneered. The larger models also feature a flybridge.

Catamarans 2024. Catana
Although part of the same industrial group as the Bali, Catana catamarans are radically different. While still dedicated to cruising, one of the priorities of these cats is also performance.
The range currently has the Catana 53 and Ocean Class, 16 and 15 meters respectively: two catamarans built with extensive use of carbon and equipped with adjustable drifts to improve sailing performance in all gaits. Dedicated to owners who are very demanding in terms of sailing quality.

Corsair Trimarans
Not only large cruising catamarans, the world of multihulls also offers smaller sporting goodies, such as Corsair trimarans.
Three models are in production, the 600, 760, and 880, but the special feature of these trimarans is that they have folding side hulls. All 3 models when moored have a maximum width of less than 2.50 due to the special system that allows the hulls to move. The philosophy of these trimarans is comparable to that of daysailers, but short cruises are also possible on the 880.

Dufour Catamarans
There are two cats in the Dufour line, a 44 and a 48-footer, both dedicated to charter or pure cruising. The designs are by Felci Yacht Design, which conceived catamarans equipped with a flybridge and panoramic deckhouse.
The special feature, which is dedicated to charter, is to be able to have up to 5 cabins inside with as many bathrooms. There are 3 layout versions available, however, and there is one, the 3-cabin, 3-bathroom version, which is more geared toward owner cruising, which is the other of the Dufour Cat’s targets.

Excess Catamarans
Catamarans with a sporty look but attentive to the needs of cruising, “standard but not too much,” is the philosophy of the Excess 11,12,14 and 15.
The brand is part of the Beneteau group like Lagoon, but compared to the latter, the ratio of displacement to sail area has different proportions that pay more attention to sailing performance. Plus you can choose the Pulse Line version with an increased sail plan, and other customization options inside as well.

Fountaine Pajot
The French brand is one of the charter giants, and its catamarans sail all over the world.
There is not only the charter market however in recent years Fountaine has also moved into the shipowner dimension with certain models and certain layout choices.
There are 8 hulls in production and they range from 12 to 24 meters. The new Thira 80 can be considered to all intents and purposes a true luxury catamaran.

Garcia Yachts
The transalpine shipyard is among the cult brands in building aluminum cruising monohulls but, as already seen with Alubat, has decided to enter the catamaran segment as well.
TheExplocat 52 is the only model currently produced, and it reinterpreted Garcia’s philosophy in a modern way. On the 52 everything on board is designed to sail wherever you want, from the water and fuel tanks to the solar panels, which allow you to cover a good portion of the energy required.

Gunboat
The shipyard based in La Grande Motte that entered the Grand Large Yachting group has always specialized in building catamarans for sport cruising.
After a start with some overly “pushed” models; in recent years Gunboat has veered toward a more cruiser style, without ever denying performance. There are 3 hulls in production, the Gunboat 70, 72 and 80. On the new 72 the first appearance of a fly bridge, confirming that the shipyard is now attentive to the world of cruisers, albeit sporting ones.

HH Catamarans
Chinese shipyard HH Catamarans, based in Xiamen, is a full-fledged member of those performance-cruiser-style cat manufacturers that have been emerging internationally in recent years.
The latest design launched is theHH 44, the entry level of a range that now has 8 models up to 88 feet. The designs are entrusted to the American firm Morrelli&Melvin, who have conceived catamarans with a modern style, straddling the quest for on-board comfort and sparkling performance.

Ice Yachts
Ice Yachts is a shipyard that, since its inception, has set out to amaze the public with unconventional boats with highly sought-after aesthetics, and performance.
Already active for some time, in addition to monohulls, in the cat world, with a 61 and a 67-footer already launched, now the Italian brand is aiming even higher with the new Sixty Four and Seventytwo, the two models currently in production. Studio Micheletti&Partners, which will put its own style stamp on the new Ice Cats, has entered the design.

Ita Catamarans
The model being produced by this Italian shipyard, the 14.99, is a boat that was born with considerable ambitions and wants to position itself in a rather high market segment, there where only some French and other international brands go.
The look is sporty, with totally inverted bows and sharp volumes. The ambitions are also to first build a totally environmentally friendly boat from the propulsion point of view, thanks to the important partnership with OCEANVOLT.

Lady Hawke Catamarans
Miggiano, in the province of Lecce, is home to these small catamarans designed for short and medium cruises, and designed for a family audience.
With their somewhat retro look, they wink at those who are looking for a unit that is smaller in size and easily manageable. Three cruisers are in production: the 33 in Comfort and Eco versions (with electric propulsion), the 36, and the 37 Sport, which has a more aggressive sailing bent.

Lagoon Catamarans
The Beneteau Group giant does not need much introduction, as it is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of cruising catamarans.
There are 8 cats in production, ranging from 40 to 70 feet, all oriented toward pure cruising and charter. The new 60, Sixty Five and Seventy, are the three models more oriented toward luxury comfort or high-end charter. On the Lagoons there is everything you could need to spend your vacation feeling like you are on a beach house.

Leopard Catamarans
For those who like high-end cruising catamarans with luxury amenities, the name Leopard Catamarans will certainly be familiar.
These catamarans were born in the South African Robertson & Caine shipyards and bear the signature of architects Simonis & Voogd. There are three models in the range: the Leopard 42, 45, and 50. Three hulls united by a distinct family feeling, including a large flybridge with command station and outdoor living area.

McConaghy Boats
The Australian shipyard, which also manufactures in China, specializes in carbon construction for both racing yachts and catamarans designed for luxury cruising.
The McConaghy’s style is somewhere between sporty styling, supported by rigid and lightweight carbon construction, and a level of comfort typical of high-end cruisers. There are four models in production, ranging from 55 to 115 feet, also equipped with comfortable flybridges.

Moon Yachts
This new Polish-based shipyard made its debut with the Moon 60, 18.28 m, which has its sights set on the super cruiser market. There is no classic bow net, replaced by a fully walkable deck with sunbathing areas everywhere.
The flybridge is a veritable terrace on the sea and serves not only to defer the boat’s maneuvers. A real catamaran for “extreme cruising,” where there will be no shortage of XXL spaces inside and outside the boat.
Who makes them: moonyacht.pl
Nautitech Catamarans
A shipyard founded in 1994, its creator was Bruno Voisard, one of the most famous sailors in France and very active in charting and catamarans.
The models in the range? Nautitech 40, 44 and 48. Unlike other shipyards Nautitech has gone against the trend on the flybridge theme on these 3 models: in fact, all 3 are offered in the Open version without Fly, lighter and faster, while remaining full-fledged cruisers that straddle the line between owner cruising and chartering. Eye-catching design of the full-glazed tugs.

Neel Trimarans
Cruising travels not only on two hulls but also on three. Neel Trimarans is the French shipyard that specializes in building cruising trimarans that are extremely comfortable, and definitely high-performance.
Boats to cross the Ocean always under sail, or to cruise the Mediterranean on a comfortable craft inside and fast when we hoist the sails. Designed by the Lombard studio, the range now numbers a 43, a 47 a 52 and the flagship Neel 65. Neel is the market benchmark for those seeking a cruising tri.

Catamarans 2024. Neo Yachts
Neo Yachts also enters the world of catamarans with the new Neo 410 Cat (12.48 x 7.65 m) and Neo 560 Cat (17.01 x 8.55 m).
To produce catamarans without betraying Neo’s DNA, that is the shipyard’s goal, which is to build light, fast composite boats with structural elements, with a great righting moment, aboard which you have to forget about the engine, even in breezy conditions. So too will Neo Yachts’ catamarans be, word from the shipyard’s founder, Paolo Semeraro.
Who produces them: www.neoyachts.com
Nova Yacht
The Novara-based shipyard is a newcomer to the nautical world. The first proposal is Calita, a catamaran boat, under 10 meters, offered both motor and sail.
The latter version we can call it more motorsailer style, as a solution was chosen for the sail plan to have only the mainsail, simplifying maneuvering as much as possible, as a support to the motor propulsion. A different idea from the rest of the market.

Outremer Catamarans
Outremer Shipyard since 1984 has been located in La Grande Motte.
If we had to find a definition to summarize the philosophy of Outremer catamarans we would borrow one from the world of monohulls, namely “performance-cruisers,” catamarans that can speedily and safely cross an Ocean on an ARC or, for example, take us on a cruise along the Mediterranean or to the Caribbean with all the comforts of home. In production, the shipyard has 7 models from 45 to 55 feet.
Who produces them: www.catamaran-outremer.com
Persico Marine
Persico Marine, a globally recognized Italian excellence when it comes to hi-tech boats (the latest Luna Rossa, just to mention a name, came out of its sheds), is also jumping into the world of catamarans.
The new Perch Cat 72 (24.10 x 9.5 m) promises to be revolutionary. Equipped with foils, it will be able to reach 40 knots of “airborne” speed (36 knots with 18 knots of air!), but with interior space and comfort worthy of the best cruising catamaran.
Who produces it: www.persicomarine.com
Privilege Marine
Privileges are catamarans that are refined in aesthetics, with a keen eye on performance as well. The range includes 4 models from 50 to 75 feet. The shipyard, which joined and then left the Hanse Group, has always preserved its distinctiveness and philosophy.
Privileges can be customized in every detail, and should rightfully be included in the market segment dedicated to luxury catamarans, with a level of comfort that also “respects” sailing performance.
Who produces them: www.privilege-marine.com
Rapid Trimarans
The Hong Kong-based shipyard specializes in building trimarans for very sporty cruising, equipped with curved and adjustable drifts and constructed of carbon fiber.
There are four models in production, designed by the American firm Morrelli&Melvin, ranging from 40 to 60 feet, all with similar characteristics: generously sized central hull to accommodate the living area, and tapered side hulls to confirm the sporty feel of these trimarans. A 53-footer for an Italian shipowner is also on the way.
Who makes them: rapidotrimarans.com
Southern Wind
The shipyard specializing in superyachts, Southern Wind, is jumping into the world of luxury catamarans and has confirmed plans to build a 90-foot catamaran together with naval architect Olivier Racoupeau and Nauta Design.
The style is that of Southern monohulls, elegant and without giving in too much to the “villa by the sea” appeal, but with a design that maintains harmonious proportions that leave one imagining a catamaran that even in sailing, and not only in luxury comfort, will have its say.
Who produces it: www.sws-yachts.com
Sunreef Yachts
Comfort is the watchword. This is the mantra of Sunreef’s catamarans, high-end cruisers equipped with hulls with significant height above the water and huge flybridges, elements that ensure true beach house volumes equipped with every comfort.
There are 4 models in production, Sunreef 50, 60, 70 and the flagship 80. Catamarans also designed for luxury charters, customizable in various elements, for those looking for a vehicle with which to feel at home even when vacationing around the world.
Who produces them: www.sunreef-yachts.com
Windelo Catamarans
This line of catamarans focuses heavily on the “eco” theme, but not only about the propulsion, which is hybrid, but also the construction made from a mixture of natural fibers derived from basalt.
The engine is hybrid, electric and diesel, a compromise that, while it does not eliminate fuel consumption altogether, also makes these boats more versatile for long cruises. In production are the Windelo 50 and 54, which can be declined in Adventure, Sport and Yachting versions, the latter the most refined for cruising.
Who produces them: www.windelo-catamaran.com
Xquisite Yachts
The Bahamas-based yard has three sailing models in production: from the small 9-meter sporty X30 to the flagship Xquisite 60 Solar, via the X5 Plus.
One of the shipyard’s mantras is eco-sustainability, which is why a large structure, a kind of XXL rollbar, designed to house a battery of solar panels as well as to shade the cockpit below, was placed aft on the 60 Solar.
