Marina di Stabia
becomes the first port in the Gulf of Naples equipped with fast charging for boats thanks to
Aqua superPower
. The new Aqua 75 75 power charging point allows batteries to be taken from 0 to 100 in no time compared to traditional power. With this news, the Stabia Marina becomes the new benchmark in the Campania area for sustainable boating.
Where is the “green” Marina of Stabia
Established in 2007 in a strategic location between Pompeii and Castellammare di Stabia, the Marina di Stabia is a focal point for transit crowding the area of Ischia, Capri, Sorrento and Naples. It is a port with 789 berths suitable for even very large vessels up to 90 meters long, and equipped with state-of-the-art services and facilities, such as the shipbuilding area with 220-ton travel lift.
With the new Aqua 75 supercharger, the Marina di Stabia also becomes the benchmark green marina in the Gulf of Naples, with the hope and wish that the adjacent area, that of Procida, Amalfi and Positano, will also become eco-friendly.
Aqua 75: how the supercharger works
Aqua superPower ‘s network of fast chargers is the first ever created specifically for marinas. In fact, the Aqua 75 charger is designed for use in marine environments, with features designed and certified (one example above all: the IP65 standard of resistance against dust and water splashes). The column offers the ability for two boats at the same time to recharge their batteries at 75 kW of power (150 kW total), which makes charging much faster than when using the dock power line. Those who want to use the charger can reserve a slot from the convenient app, which allows them to view a map with all Aqua superPower charging points, or approach and start charging by approaching the RFID card.
