Finding boats under ten meters in the sailing world is increasingly difficult because yards often focus on larger square footage and do not launch new “small” models. Within our digital Boat Show, however, there are some exceptions, and you can visit them simply by clicking. We have selected three, let’s look at them together.

a27 – Pure

Thea27 is the first boat presented by the Austrian shipyard A-Yachts and designed by Lorenzo Argento Yacht Design studio. This is an 8.18-meter sailboat characterized by a voluminous bow and an almost edgeless stern, with very generous cockpit space, equipped with wide and comfortable benches. The hull was constructed of sandwich infusion with a carbon fiber presence of more than 80 percent. The latest evolution of the a27 brings the number of versions available for this boat to three: pure, solar and performance Each with its own characteristics.

Dufour 37 - Exteriors Three boats under 10 meters that you can visit with a click

The Dufour 37 is a project that once again bears the signature of the Felci Yacht Design team and confirms the Dufour brand’s commitment to continuous innovation and development of its range. This new yacht of 10.8 meters overall (including the dolphin boat) is the second smallest boat in the range, after the entry level Dufour 32. On the side, the Dufour 37 has a long continuous window, as well as on the deckhouse. In terms of appendages, the boat has an L-shaped keel and a single rudder, and the rigging layout, on the other hand, has 4 winches, with all rigging running within sight and halyard stoppers on the paramare.

Beneteau Oceanis 34.1 (10.77 x 3.57 m)

Beneteau Oceanis 34.1 - Exterior

Marc Lombard’s team with the design of the Beneteau Oceanis 34.1 wanted to take the now well-known compromise between comfort and performance a step further. To do this he designed a wider hull at the bow. So you have a double advantage: more control and stability when upwind, especially with the more stable rudder when heeling. The wider front section actually serves to reduce pitching when sailing upwind.
