After more than a year of work,Rassker 69, the first hull of Hallberg-Rassy 69, the Swedish shipyard’s new flagship and the largest Hallberg-Rassy ever built, has touched thewater for the first time . The boat, which will begin water testing soon, will be displayed at the Boot Düsseldorf boat show to be held January 20-28, 2024.

Designed by Germán Frers, the new model is the largest yacht ever built by Hallberg-Rassy. The 69-footer (20.96 meters) is designed for family operation through the use of electric winches, but, for those who wish, there is also space on board for a sailor or skipper. Its name (Rassker) recalls the first boat designed and built in 1983 by then 16-year-old Magnus Rassy, son of Christoph Rassy (1934-2021) and current CEO of the shipyard.
The interior is on one level throughout the boat. Like any self-respecting Hallberg-Rassy, the 3.5-meter-long cockpit is protected by a tempered glass windshield, and high guardrails run all around it. There is, of course, a large engine room, which is easily accessible so that action can be taken if necessary even while underway.
