High-performance propellers equal high-performance engines, and so there is no substitute for investing in accessories to have efficient propulsion. In fact, these are often the parts of the engine that are most prone to wear and tear, preventing the engine from running at the best of its ability. Not to mention when fishing nets, lines, or seaweed get into the propeller tangling it up…In this case (for now only if you have a Yanmar engine) you can install a handy “line cutter” blade between the blades and the crankshaft!
Autoprop – Brunton’s Propellers
Autoprop is the propeller of choice for cruise passengers. It is automatic variable pitch, so it independently adjusts its position to suit the situation. When sailing under sail, the blades are positioned at the flag, reducing drag.

EnergyMatic is the self-returning propeller that turns into a generator. With the blades in the charging position when sailing, the propeller becomes a turbine and recharges the batteries. Just have an alternator connected to the axle.
